Kitchenaid Mixer

You know you’ve been looking at these things for the longest and can’t make up your mind on which to get. Hopefully I can help you make that decision.

I have now owned 4 different ones and can say I love my work horses, My favorite I can say is the “Artisan” hands down

Kitchenaide Artisan

5qt Bowl

325w

2 cakes Max

Reason, I am a baker, but in size the 5qt fits 2 cakes with no worries, No, you might not be doing 2 but having the space is much needed, especially in the case of adding too much ingredients by accident. Instead of throwing it away doubling up and making another with it works.

Kitchenaide KSM55

5.5qt Bowl or 7qt

500w

2 Cakes or 3 Max

the Tilt head is a quick way of dealing with the bowl, place and twist. For two cakes your not doing too much lift. KSM55 500w seem like a set back to me on power when trying to compare it to the Artisan. The Artisan 325w seems to handle the dual batter better and more. The 600 pro with 575w was nice but of course more space meant more cake for me. Holding 3 full cakes in a 6qt bowl it was cool but didn’t like me pushing it to the limit every time. Meanwhile the Artisan stood strong.

Kitchen Aide KA 600 pro

6qt Bowl

575w

3 Cakes Max

Lastly the Commercial 1.3HP If your going to buy the lift might as well get one of these they have the power for it all and Holds 4 cakes in the 8qt Bowl I Love these things and I have two the tag is hefty but you’ll never buy another putting it in your house or business it’s just like the Artisan.

Kitchenaide Commercial

8qt Bowl

1.3hp - 970w

4 Cakes Max

My artisan is 9yrs Old and still going. My commercials are 3yrs and you don’t have to pay for the guard especially if your adding your ingredients as your mixing. Artisan
